The way and importance of PR (public relations) one’s self

1. This is indeed a hard world to live in. People effort for elevate their value in various way.

2. When they find a job, they should like to express as well as possible. Also they want to look well. There are some ways to manage themselves. It is preparing them, and appeal to others who might be a CEO, chief, senior.

3. First, People study more and more for are a best in their field. They plan what they have to do, after decided their major or aim.

4. They study foreign language, and get certified as much as possible. Sometimes they take part in many social activities.

5. In Korea, lots of university student spend time for their dream. They go to institutes for learning English, and get license, also remodel their character even if it is a vacation. Moreover, someone join a work training camp for experience executive ability. It is also ticketed for personal history. And of course it is for brighter future.

6. Another way is hosting their life at internet site like as
www.cyworld.com (Korea), www.facebook.com (USA). Most of people can show their life, concern. It is a way of PR by visualization.

7. They usually post up about them such as putting photo at album, some writings on the bulletin board, and putting video file and so on. Cyworld is the best site to show individual personality In Korea. Most of Korean have own webpage. Everyone can decorate it such as background, music, menu tool, and so on.

8. They are satisfied to show about their life. And they want to have shown better from great their webpage.

9. All of the above must be a purpose to live for the competitive struggle of life. It is a way to try flattering themselves. Also it is for bright future.

10. If they find an appropriate way through fine PR without unselfish, they would get a good chance. And they could earn a comfortable living.

The Technology

  1. In the past, there was no technology everything was manual, such as traveling from city to city it was by hours and sending a mail it was by special type of dove which is called (Pigeon), and by these materials the people were living a good life, but nowadays life come opposite side everything is totally technology or some part of it work with technology.
  2. When a person thinks where life goes. If the person considers how much technology he uses everyday he will surprise! because they are a lot and a lot. For instance, a simple person everyday wakes up in the morning and start his day with light in bathroom, coffee maker, refrigerator, car, stop light, phone, cell phone, laptop, internet…etc I believe they never finish.
  3. I am wondering: do people need all these technologies? Are they waiting for more? Are they good for people or not?
  4. In my opining the technology like a knife if you cannot know how can you use it do not use it. Even if you know how can you use it but you do not know what is the right and what is the wrong things, do not use it. The knife you can use it to hurt someone. On other hand, you can use it to cut some sweet fruit to eat.
  5. The technology exactly the same as knife. In fact, a lot of people do not know how can they use the technology with right way, they use the technology for everything. For example, a person use a car even he wants to go to a store, and this store is so close to his home. It is just between his home and the store two blocs or so! When I see like this example I come really frustrated because these people use the technology with the wrong way.
  6. The technologies create for people who are busy and they do not have time to do the routine thing such as a count everyday how much he sells and how much he has in a box that by using a calculator, but if you are not a busy person you should use your mind to know what is the answer instead for using the calculator to let your mind work.
  7. In addition, the technology effects the natural thing such as vegetables and fruit. A employer who has a agriculture company. He edits into the vegetables and the fruit some chemical thing because he wants to make it looks bigger and living longer. As result the, the mark fill it with artificial food.
  8. Furthermore, people around the world are facing and suffering from global warming, and this is a result for having too many technologies in our life.
  9. Yet nowadays there are some of technologies are necessary such as cars I did not say you should not use it, but I said we have to be careful about that. For example, if you want to go to a place and this place close to your home you should go by foot not by a car.
  10. Finally, I am worry about where are the people going with them lives, and I just want you to be aware there are a lot of damage come with the technologies and the people have to be careful with these huge technologies.

  1. Yesterday evening, the rebarbative fire alarm waked me up . I caught up with other students and went to outside as quickly as I can. Because of the nice weather, I caught cold. Not only for me, but also for my friends. We just wore less clothes, and wait for the fire alarm stop in front of the hall.
  2. I think we should not do that so frequent. Since I went to MSU, I have done that more than 15 times. Some people said that I will never believe the stupid alarm.
  3. Yes, firstly, If do that more frequent, people maybe will regardless of the practice. By the way,the practice will lose of meaning in protection.
  4. Secondly, If people just wore less clothes, they maght catch a cold in the bac weather. And maybe in next time, many people will not do the practice actively.
  5. Thirdly, I saw many people use the elevator to get down the stairs, but the staffs didn't forbid them to do that. Just like a game, and lose its mean. When other people who use the emergency exit saw that, maybe they will use the elevator next time who live in the top of the hall.
  6. Think about of the question below, if the hall is burnd in the future, students will still in danger.
  7. Although that was terrible to students, it also have something benifical.
  8. However, it more harm than good for the frequent practice.
  9. So, for my view, the fire alarm practice is necessary, but it should be turn down the frequency.
  10. Actually there's a lot to say about that, but the points above are what I maily want to cover.

Review my writing skills in last semester.

Now, I have more and more American friends here. Every night we meet in the study lounge to do homework with each other and talk about all sorts of things which we are all pretty interested in,such as chinese culture, American government, even our private lives. and play interesting computer games together. When I finish a paper or essay, I always ask my American friends to help me correct the errors if there some I made. At the same time, I think I have been practicing my English since I have been studing with them. Reviewing all of my writing and quiz sheets from the begining of this semester, I really found that I have progressed in every field of English, especially in writing.

Fist of all, my grammar is much better than before. I can see a great difference that there are fewer and fewer errors in my papaers. I have a lot of weakness of grammar in writing. Some of them are inevitable because my first language is Chinese. But now I think it has been changed. Comparing with native person’s writing frequence, I found out that if you want to write a paper as a native speaker’s, you must have an American mind, you need to think like American people. Fortunately, I have understood it since I finished my midterm test. What’s more, I was quite frustrated when I got a lot of spelling problems in my writing before. I know it is a low-level error in writing. In order for me to avoid it, I would spend much more time on remember new words. That was really boring but useful. Now I just got a few spelling mistakes in my papers. Finally, I have learned how to make an excellent essay. Every paragraph needs a main idea, every main idea needs examples, and every example needs details.

Above all, I believe i have absorbed many writing skills, such as how to use correct grammar, how to fix my paragraphs and to be organized, how to make my writing close to a really American style. I know there are still lots of things remaining, which I should try my best to finish completely in the future. As an old saying goes,"we never finish all our work totally today."

ETHAN CHANG

1. Hello, everyone! This is the first time I write a composition on internite. And this time I want to write about my studied place, I am going to write my personal opinion about it.
2. I studied in a foreign country, and I studied in an English Language Center. Many foreigners study in this program. However most of them do not like it, and they want to get out of this program as soon as they can, and there are many reason for it.
3. First of all, the tuition is bery high. This program chages in accordance with 12bcredits, without accommodation and meals' fee. So the total fee is at least 1.5000 d0llars for one semester.
4. After paying the tuiton we can not get what we really want. For instance, the food is not good enough for the most Chinese students. They do not adapt the food that in the canteen. Some students from other countries can get food which they like, but we can not.
5. For the education system, all this program's student must past the placement test and get enough GPA so that they can skip other level to next level. However the student whose GPA is 3.5 even though higher than it, and they did not do well in the placement test they only can go to nest leverl. Some of students asbsent some classes and they do not work really hard in the program , however they get a good mark in the placement test and they can skip some levels. So the placement tests only effect fot the people whose English level is better.
6. So I hope this system can be changed, there are many students who studied very hard, and their GPA is 3.5 or more than 3.5, and they really should be rewarded. Whereas the reward shou not be just a diploma.
7. On the other hand, this program has its advantage. For example, the teachers are really helpful. We have classes every morning at 8 o'clock, and the teachers get up at 6 o'clock to organize the class for us. I recived a mail that was sent at 6 o'clock on that morning. We really appericiate to that.
8. Moreover, this program helped us a lot, it really can help us to improve our English level. In this program, all the students who reaalu studied hard can be at a good English level they except.
9. Last but not the least, in this program there are many foreigers, we came from different countries, it help us to get together and we can talk each other to understand other countries' culture clearly.
10. Admittedly, the English Language Center is a good place to study. However I do not think this program is good enough. I really hope this program to improve itself, and make it better and better.

What is the most difficult language in the world?

  1. People talk about this topic quite often. We have Arabic, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. Who speaks the most difficult language?
  2. First of all, no language is difficult as the first language. Every child can master her/his native language no matter what the language she/he speaks. In this sense, it might be meaningless to discuss which language is more or less difficult.
  3. Second of all, each language has a different difficulty in each skill. For example, Korean is fairly easy to write; however, they have a really difficult system of honorific expressions. You have to distinguish many ways of expressions depending upon who you are talking to.
  4. Regarding Chinese, they have tons of characters. In addition, Chinese is a tonal language. This means, depending upon how you tone a word, the meaning differs. I believe there are at least four tones in Chinese (or more). However, their grammar is fairly easy.
  5. I don't know much about Arabic. Arabic writing seems daunting, but it might be so complicated once you learn it. I think the hardest part in Arabic is its variation. Even if you learn the formal Arabic, that is not enough. You need to learn a dialect.
  6. Third of all, if you are learning a language, how difficult a language is depends on your first language. For the Japanese, Korean and Chinese are easier to learn because we share so many features in common. One research showed that the Japanese need only half of time to learn Korean compared to English. However, Korean is often regarded as one of the most difficult languages for English speakers.
  7. Similarly, Spanish and French are fairly easy for English speakers. But they are as difficult as English for Asians. Not only Korean but also Chinese and Japanese are also difficult ones to learn for English speakers.
  8. So the answer to the question: what is the most difficult language in the world can not be single. It depends on how you take a look at a language.
  9. Still, English does not seem to be one of the difficult languages in the world. That may be why lots of people choose to use English for communication, and we end up by learning it.
  10. This is an interesting site to take a look at. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardest_language) Although Wiki is not really trustable, if you believe in this article, Koreans (so, Gee and Clement) should be proud to be able to handle the most(?) difficult language in the world!
