1.There have many different kinds of brands in our daily life. Some of them are cheap but some of them are very expensive.

2.Nowaday， more and more young people like to buy some famous and expensive brands about cloth and bag. But their parents against them to buy it. They think expensive brands is a kinds of luxury goods. It doesn't suit young people.

3.I don't agree with many parents opinion. In my opinion, I think if family economic allow, we can buy some expensive brands.

4.First of all, some brands just fit young people. When we have our jobs and income. We are earn enough money to buy the expensive brands clothes. But we are too old to wear this kinds of clothes.

5. Second, many parents don't want us to buy luxury goods. The most important reason is we are just students. We have not income.

6However, I think we spend money from parents because when we are able to work and have our income. We need gives some money for our parents. Because our parents have no jobs and don't have income. We need take care our parents. It necessary for us. It is our responsibility.

7.So when our parents want to buy a luxury goods when they are old. We must to but it for our parents if we have enough money.

8.The same as we want buy a luxury goods and our parents buy it for us. Although we have income, but we can buy it use our parents money.

9.But I think we cannot buy luxury goods usually. We just buy it sometimes and we can buy some goods which is really worth to buy.

10. It is necessary for us to practice thrift. But it is not means that we cannot buy luxury. Practice thrift is a good kinds of customs. Luxury goods is stand for relish.

On a diet is bad

1.Now days, people like to have a good body shape, so of the people think many ways to keep their weight, sport or stop having the meal.

2.For most of the girls, they will choose to stop keep their weight by their meal, which mean on diet.

3.In my opinion, people who is on a diet is very harmful to their healthy.

4.First of all, on a diet is bad for people’s body. As we know, if people on a diet will strongly affect their body health. This way is reducing the weight by stop the body’s nutrient absorption . On the same time, people’s immunity will also go down, that really easy to cause people sick.

5.So it is very dangerous for people who are on diet.

6.Secondly, on a diet is most easy way to get tummy bug. Because while the time you eat, but you don’t or eat some snack. while the time you don’t eat, but you eat. So how can your tummy be good.

7.So no matter what happen, at the time you eat, you must have the meal.

Never Give Up

2. In my view, it is important to live successfully. So I consider the state significiantly.
There are some reason to support my opinion.

3. A lot of trials and failures teach us the way to achieve our goal. Everyone might go through at least one failure because no one can do everything at the first time. The failure leads them to right way to success.

4. The way learn from failure enables them to do next problem well. They might find out the priceless facts from their trivial errors. If they never give up after failure and they think it as a good lesson for the important success in the future, their failure will be no longer failure, but lesson for their better future.

5. For instance, when I participated in a competition, I stayed up the whole night long for several days. And I were at last nearing the end of my journey. It was hard time for me, but I beared and forbeared. I would want to feel much relieved.

6. At the end of the my project, someone removed my workfile by his mistook whlie I had just left for a moment. The error undid all my effort and I fell into desfair. I wanted to give up everything. But I could not because It certainly was not time worth the time I spent to it. Also the competition was too good to miss. After all, I retried my best and dragged through the project for a tight schedule.

7. It was embarrassed experience for me, but I did not make the same mistake anymore from the time.

8. Another is that there are often giving them to give up again even the easiest thing. When they give up, they would learn about the feeling of fear and lose their confidence.

9. They will get fear of the failure. They will try to escape the problem and want someone to help. However, If they just follow the same old path of the past, there will be no progress.

Are People Looking for Results or Purposes?

1. Form long time ago, people were living a lay life. Even there was nothing called money. If people wanted to get something they did not have it, they had to exchange with other people something they were producing. For instance, a person was farmer and he wanted some equipment from a carpenter, so the farmer had to give some harvest to the carpenter to get what he wanted, and that is a view from economy aspect.
2. Yet there were nothing called school or university. If a person wanted to get knowledge, he had to go to someone to teach him how to do particular career. For example, a person wanted to work at a farm, so he had to go to a farmer to teach him how could used a farm equipments such as how could he dug a hole etc. after all these teaching the farmer did not give any certificate to that person, but nowadays, everything changes economy, education, transportation etc.
3. Many people have muss up between result and purposes. Some people think these two words are synonym, and another people think there is different but not wide. In fact, there is wide different between these two words.
4. Then, What does result mean? A result is the final destination, and before a person achieves this destination. There are steps or series of actions it should be done. What does purpose mean? A purpose is a reason for aim why a person is doing this, a motivator. A major question does people look for purposes or results?
5. Everything changes even people purposes and results. Now, people go to university because they do not want to learn new knowledge to become export on it, but they just want a last physical result which is a certificate.
6. That mean the purposes of people change from get a new knowledge to get an evidence paper tells people they were at this university. In the past, people stayed with his instructor until they knew how could made particular thing, but nowadays people do not care if they can do their careers or not. They just want a certificate to get a job.
7. Well, when a person follows these people who get a certificate with low quality. Almost all of them are doing their jobs with “anything or whatever” because they did not have knowledge. Just, few people from them can do their jobs with good quality, and that for different causes some of them like their jobs, feel a responsibility or look for money.
8. That does not mean if people won't go to a university. They cannot do their job with good quality, that means people have to know what they want, and look for purpose not for a last physical result.
9. There are a lot of examples about that, and one of these examples is when students cheat in their assignments from their friends because they are looking for a result which is greed then pass this course, but they did not look for purposes which is why did an instructor give them these assignments.
10. People have to renew their purposes and look forward, what they exactly want. What are purposes to do this or that? Because many people in their life mix up between physical results and purposes aims. In this article mentioned one aspect in people lives which is education, but people have to know it is applied in everything in their lives.

1. Many international students will choose to live with a people who can speak the same language. In MSU, it's very common. Chinese lived with Chinese, Korean lived with Korean.
2. But for my view, I prefer to lived with a man who was a native speaker.
3. Nowdays, for us, practising speaking English is very important. But if your roommate is always speaking the mother language with you, you can not increase your English skills fastly and effectively. On the contaray, if your roommate is a native speaker, it's not only better for your course, but also better for you to discover more native culture.
4. We should enjoy the Americans socity. So, we need one person who can give you great guide. For example, I didn't know the American football before. But after my roommate told me the all rules and the knowledges, I found I have fulled in love with it.
5. A native speaker friend will help you solve many problems you never face. Such as the driver license, socical security number.
6. But this topic is a contoversial issue. Some people think if you lived with a people who speak the same first language with you will more convenient. Such as they can take care of each others, they can communicate more directly.
7. However, it will make you lose a chance to make more foreign friends. And as far as I am concened that if you can make a good communication with the foreigners they can also take care of you.
8. Other people think they shold have a short time to adjust the new life, so they choose a roommate who was not a foreigner.
9. For that, I don't agree. You should have to learn how to depend on yourself or not alway by others. independce is very important.

COMPUTER LIFE

1.The e-mail servece and internet based on cmputer make us communtcate with other much more easily and conveniently.I always use this function to view my parents on line now.

2.Now,e-mails take only a few seconds to send and to receive and we can always meet people,even foreigners,in chat rooms when ever we set up our computers, it really makes our socializing easier as well as keeping up with the news.You konw in MSU you had to receive lots of e-mails from oiss,bank of america, at.t ...so at there it is more necessary to get a computer for yourself.

3.The news on the internet is being broadcasted 24 hors everyday and tailored to our specific interests.I always connect my telephone and mordem with a computer to read them that is very useful to inprove my English skills.Listening to radio or watching television can be informed with what is happing arround you conveniently too.

4.I can read many books in my dorm instead of going to libirary which is far way from my dorm.Besides it is very convenient and much easy to research work with a computer turning on,you can save your works on computers easily,more than just typing a new letter,no matter what your work is even audio or video data,you can also type a few keys to print them out neatly of looking for books or magazines in libraries.

5.Some people think that computers have made life complex and stressful.They may not be very familiar with computers or do not know how to work with a computer eficiently.It does not matter.Only after a few weeks of training,they can easily enjoy the covenience of computers in socializing,reading news and doing research jobs.

6.A lot of people only regard it as a game machine. Some of my friends have much fun with computer games, it seems takes  full of their leisure time. Sometimes they would like to spend over $3000 to renovate the background program  or add up new function  to enable some games to run more faster or to be more exciting. No computer games, no life. 

7..A piece of news goes that a high school student quited all school courses in order to became a  professional computer game player, which can get full time job salary from a company,which runs the project of creating new games. 

8.I had a dream to become a hacker when i was a middle school student. I done some crazy plans such as, to steal much money from on-line bank computer system, to hit my English teacher's computer to destory our test sheet etc. Unfortunately, I failed.

9.Now the computer technique is growing rapidly to be more intelligentized in order to instead more and more people working. In the future, maybe we need to do nothing. 

10. Even if i strong agree that there are plenties of advantages we benefit from computer, but i don't expect our scientists to develop this technique extremely. If they do it, we can't imagine what will happen to us. I don't want to be free in the future. 

American Valuable Culture

1. for this topic, i want toi talk about American valuble culture. Everybody know America has not very long history, but their history influence a lot. I am going to talk about religion in America, the Western pioneer, how the Western frontier spirt influnce USA, the life in America, the culture pluralism,the immigrants of America and the ethnic in America. Also i am going to talk about my own opinion about America.
2. Religion is important for America, you can see many churchs on the way, is very normal. I think more than 85%people in America , they have their own beliefs. But many people still believe in God. They think God can help them in many ways, if they really believe in God. Even in any kind of money , there is a model "in God we trust".
3.The Western pioneer has many good qualities need us to learn. They are not lazy, they like to make many things independence on themselves. And they like to protect their family use their own tools and guns. They do not rely governemnt or any other organization.
4.Western frontier sprits influence a lot in America, for a fashion way, like jeans. People like to wear jeans until now, but for qualities. They are very self-reliance, is similar with Western pinoeer, they just independence by themselves. They help others and also improve a lot for themselves.
5.America is a free country, the govenment do not like to control people to do something, they just let citizens to explore themselves and must in legal way. That is a good point to attract people come to America. And in this country, they have more opportuinty to do many things you want, and also many challenges.
6. America culture is pluralism. Mant kind of people live in America, they bring their own culture come to here and mix together. Then America like a "Melt-Pot". For example, there are many kind of restaurants at here, whateve what taste you want. You just can choose what you want. That is convenice and good for people. Also is good for explore culture.
7. During the ealry of America until now, there are many immigrants come to America. They think America has more good benefits and good issue to let people live in there and study or work. They like the style of America, so they come to America . During these years, many people come to here and married with an American, then they became an American too.
8. America is an ethnic country, there are many kinds of people live in America. Like white, Africa American, Spanish, Asina and Latino. Thoes can improve America is a "Melt-Pot"country again.
9. I just came to America almost a year, and i really like to reaserch about American culture. When i study in MSU, i think is more convience to let me know more about American culture.
10. America is a mixture country, i think is good to let people explore themselves, and challenging all the time in America. In my opinion is good for us to know what is a indenpendence country.

To be confident

1. When I was a child,teachers taught us to be confident.They also told us many stories about how to be a confident person.At that time,I couldn't understand "confidence",I just thought we should be brave when we are doing something.I did not realize the importance of being confident until I grow up.
2. As we know,modern society is developing fast,our world is changing all the time.So everyone has pressure from the challenges of future.We have to be confident to face them.
3.In my opinion,being confident is the key to success,if you get it，you get the power to do everything,if we are afraid of the problems and difficulties,we may fail at the start.
4.Confidence shouldn't be base on our imagination,we should take action.It is a trust to ourselves,if we trust ourselves and work hard,so that we can get your goals closer and achieve them.
5.If your are not confident,you should try your best to change the situation,because it is really important for us and our future.Because believing ourselves is also a faith.
6.But how to build confidence in our heart? For those successful person's experience tells us the principle.We should try to talk to others bravely and actively,that will get people close to you,so that you can communicate with others and know them well.A confident expression on your face，a confident gesture and word will really help you to build the faith of confidence.
7.On the other hand,we should find our advantage,that means we should find what are we really good at,and focus on it,than you will find yourself in the work,at the same time confidence is being build during the process.

Where we should live?

1. As I know, most of students live on campus in the first year, which was limited by school. But according to the students mind, just a little student wants to live on campus. So some students not only rent apartment, but also pay for live in school. That is a unadvisable choice.

2. Now, we will finish the first year in MSU, which means we can move out to school or we can live off campus with our friends, that make us exciting and happy. However, there is a problem, what we should choice? Still live on campus or move out.

3. In my opinion, whatever aspects move out is better than live on campus, such as the price, the dinner, the convenience, to name but a few.

4. First of all, live off campus is convenient, we know that some dorms in school should share bathroom with roommates, especially some dorms have four people that is difficult to use it. We can image that if they have class at the same time in the morning, they both want to use bath room, they should wait and one by one, that will lead they don not wash, going to class, avoiding late to class. But live off campus we can use our own bath room, we do not need to worry that situation happen again.

5. On the other hand, I asked some students about the school food, most of answers were not satisfied. They feel that the school food can not eat every day, they want to do some food by themselves or eat some native food. But the fact is we can not cook in dorm, even if we can cook in dorm, we also should think our roommates feeling. Because some roommates from different countries they are not used to the smell which cooked by us. On the contrast, we can cook whatever we want in our rent apartment without thinking our roommates feeling.

6. Moreover, sometimes we want to study in the dorm, but the roomates talking with their friends or watch TV, play games. That make us can not focus on study. Maybe some students think we can go to library, but they neglect that we will waste too much time to wait the bus or walking on the road .
Obviously, study in our own study room is better than study in dorm.

7. Also, we can not ignore the advantage of live on campus, because some students think live in school can help them improve language, they can always talk with local students in dorm or join the activities. I recognize that is a good way to enhance our English.

8. But live off campus we can find other ways help us boost our language skill too. The first way, we know that there are many activities every week in school, we can active to join, making new friends who are local students. Then, we can usually play together, in the long run, we will find that our English skill has improved.

9. The second way is we should study hard in class, more practice with teachers or classmates. After class we can listeng to English mews, watch English movies, and reading the newspaper. These also good ways to enhance our English.

10. Finally, all of information above can illuminate that live off campus is a good choice for international students living and study. By the way, if you want to move out, you should find a quiet and safe apartment.

1. I remember once when I just came to MSU, the " home coming day" was caming.
2. A teacher asked us will we go to see the football game, andI said no. When the teacher asked me why, I just answered randomly that I would study at dorm.
3. " If you study at dorm everyday, is there any difference between when you in China and come to here?" she said.
4. That is, her words impressed me. I think in China there will never be a teacher said like this.
5. That's the difference about the study style in the different country. In china,"study"means homework and exam. "Score" is almost the only way that the teacher define whether you are a good student or a bad student.
6. A teacher in my junior high school said to a "low score" student:" Your father has better buy you a car and make you become a taxi diver with this tuition than send you to be here."
7. What make this happened. According to the report, there are almost 50% students can get into the collage though the exam, so the competation is really drastically. It can make sense that why parents and the teachers pushing students to work hard. The students also feel stressfull.
8. However, in American, I think ability and score are both important. There are lots of assn in the collage. Most of teachers would like you to take part in some activitices, and they will organize some of them, like we have been to the elemrentery school.
9. In American, the sitution is different. The number of the students are less and there are almost everyone can get into the collage if they want. The education resources are also better and wilder.

Making Friends

1- It is easy to make friends in any time. But it is not easy to find a good friend who can advice you if you made something wrong in your life.

2- The good friend who can help you if you need him. He should have good morals such as honesty, secretariat, fulfill and so on.

3- The best friend who can take you in the right way.

4- Same people lost their life in drugs, because they had a bad friend. Also, some people had killed because they joined a bad gang, and when they decide to stop joining them, they killed him. There are many situations were happened because a bad friends.

5- There are some people who find his clearly way .The way that if he walk on it he will find his happiness.

6- Because he found the good friends who help him on that.

7- I am a Muslim, and I thanks god for that, because Islam is only the way if anybody takes this way he will find the happiness, relaxing, and so on. I have some friend who advice me if I make something wrong in my life.

8- There are some people walked with any friend, because they did not find the good friend, and I think this is wrong.

9- You should have a patience to look for a good friend.

10- I do not think there is somebody who can live without friend, so all people have many friends, but the question is. Are these friends good, honest with you?

U.S health problem

1. Obesity is a growing health problem in the U.S now.

2. And helth problem related to obesity, such as diabetes and heart disease. Also cause expensive problem.

3. The cost of health care and health insurance is increasing for everyone because of these diseases. Recently, U.S government have been considering to add a tax to junk foods such as soda and fast food.

4. They are thinking that increasing of these staffs will make people choose healthy food instead of junk food.

5. U.S health problem is not only food but also cigarette. Smoking is another behavior that cause expensive health problem. The government also add a tax to cigarette like junk food.

6. I think this is a good experiment about adding a tax to junk food and cigarette. So, the government should make a new rule for people to decrease health problem.

7. Actually, cigarette is one of the most harmful things for people.

8. The regulation of the cigarette is slow in the U.S. Therefore the government should make a regulation severe not only increasing the tax of the cigarette.

9. I think we can also use other ways to solve this problem especially children. Because children do not have good self-controle.

10. We can help them to change their eating habits and to tell about risk of smoking, and urge them to do more exercise.

Eating at America

1. I have already studied in America for a period. As a foreign student, there are a lot of things I have to get used to, and also many things make me feel interesting. During last semester, I had a lot of fun. However during the few months, there is only one thing I feel hard to accept. It is America food.
2. As a foreign student, most people will choose to eat and live on campus for the first semester. The canteen is obviously becoming where we eat near everyday, and American food is majority food. After I lived in here for a while, I have found it is not as delicious as most people thought.
3. When I was in my home country, I used to eat American food frequently. At that time, I felt American food is very delicious for me, and also there are many children like to eat American junk food, such as KFC and McDonald's...
4. I remember after I lived on campus few weeks, once my parent asked me whether I want to eat KFC or McDonald's. I said not at all. I could eat it at every time I want. There are lots of junk foods in our canteen, even as I live in McDonal Hall, I could order fried wing on each weekday. The foods drive me crazy. Sometimes, I think American people just know steaming and frying that two ways to cook.
5. So that I have to eat at Chinese restaurants at least twice a week. After a period, I realize it is not only me but also most of Chinese students. Most of us think America food especially for canteen, it is kind of disgusting. We have to eat Chinese food frequently.
6. However, eating at Chinese restaurant can just help us remember Chinese food. Most Chinese restaurants they are not exactly Chinese food. It is like American Chinese foods, such as, Panda.
7. Friday afternoon, I with my friends went to Ann Arbor to enjoy some authentic Chinese food for dinner at 4 o'clock. We drove about an hour. Then, we went to a Chinese restaurant-Hometown, which I had never been to before. It was an amazing night. We tasted the most delicious Chinese food in America and had fun together. When we went back Lansing, it was about 10 o'clock.
8. We spent about 6 hours to eat some foods. It is a kind of wasting time but I and friends agreed it is totally worth.
9. On the other hand, American dessert is one of the best in the world even though in our canteen. I have never eaten this kind of tasty desserts before except for Europe. And the material, it is also amazing.
10. However, I don't like American food somewhat. It may be because I am not native, usually eat in canteen or eat it at majority time, but the dessert is amazing. It is same like cigarettes. American cigarette focuses on material and Chinese focuses on taste and smell. It is nothing wrong or right, just depends on different people to enjoy it. With the increasing population of Chinese students, I believe some day there will be some Chinese foods at the canteen.

The divorce in the family!

1. I think the divorce is a big problem in the world. It becomes common.The statistic shows there are a lot of couples divorced for no reasons.
2. Yes with no reasons, it is a petty thing. They decide that when they anger don't worry about their children.
3. In some case the man doesn't has any responsibility.He doesn't care about his family.He wastes the money in the drinking and for fun.
4. In the other wise, the wife go to the work and getting tired to save some money to her family but she will not stand a long time one day she will explode like the bomb.
   
5. sometimes the opposite, in the all cases there is a person who doesn't care about the children and the family.
6. I think all of them have to take and give not just take and not just give. The marriage life need cooperative work with each other, no selfishness at all.

Early Bird Class！

1.Each person need sleep everyday. Sleep is necessary for us.

2.We are not only need sleep, but also need enough time to sleep. We are at least 8 hours to go to sleep everyday.

3.But many people have class or work very early in the morning. So they need get up earlier everyday. They cannot keep enough time to sleep.

4.I think it is very bad for us to have class in the morning before 9 o'clock.

5.Many students are night worker. So they like study at night. They may go to sleep very late everyday. But they have class early in the morning. They can't have enough time to sleep. They may have no spirits in class everyday. Thet need coffee to keep a clear mind instead breakfast. Of couse, it bad for our health.

6.If a person have a class or work very early in the morning. They may want get more times to sleep. So they don't have breakfast everyday. It is also very bad for our health.

7.Actually, the weather is very cold in the morning before 8 o'clock. It is better for us to go to work late in the morning.

8.So, in my point of view, I think the best time for us to go to work is after 9 o'clock. This is the best time to begin our class or work.

9.I hope oneday, all of our work or first class begin after 9 o'clock. Before 9 o'clock, the world can keep silent and each person can get enough time to sleep.

10.But this is a dream. We also need to go to our first class at 8 am.

1.As we know, violence is not a good thing, especially for the children. But there are still many things about the violence on the film,even on the TV. And now become more and more common.

2.Last few weeks, I watch TV in my dorm, I was surprised that there were some horrible movie playing on the TV programs,I still remember the movie named"Halloween 2007", how can it play on the TV!

3. In my opinion, I think government should control the amount of violence in the film or on the TV.

4.Even for me, I am still afried of that kind of movie.

5.First of all, people don’t like the violence at all. Because the violence always be cruel, so people after to see the violence film, can not sleep in the night, especially for the children, all horrible thing keep going around children's mind. Anyways, it is harmful them.

6.Secondly, the violence is the most darkness even can change students' mind. The student will learn to be violence, they will get into one group and then to domineer humiliatingly other students, and make some student afraid of going the school.

7.From the film, the students can learn how to kill people, how to sell the drugs and many horrible movement.

8.Moreover, the violence is only for the adult, also it needs to divide into the level. This can be more better for the family to choose the film. In the US, people send the DVDs in rigorous way, you need show your ID if you want to get some DVDs.

9. This is what we suppose to do, different types of DVD for different ages people to watch.This is a good way to let people know about violence.And we know that people have to know about it,
so this is a good to let people know about it.

10.To sum up, the film or the TV program should be health for the human’s life,violence still need to keep away from the children.
