1.The e-mail servece and internet based on cmputer make us communtcate with other much more easily and conveniently.I always use this function to view my parents on line now.
2.Now,e-mails take only a few seconds to send and to receive and we can always meet people,even foreigners,in chat rooms when ever we set up our computers, it really makes our socializing easier as well as keeping up with the news.You konw in MSU you had to receive lots of e-mails from oiss,bank of america, at.t ...so at there it is more necessary to get a computer for yourself.
4.I can read many books in my dorm instead of going to libirary which is far way from my dorm.Besides it is very convenient and much easy to research work with a computer turning on,you can save your works on computers easily,more than just typing a new letter,no matter what your work is even audio or video data,you can also type a few keys to print them out neatly of looking for books or magazines in libraries.
6.A lot of people only regard it as a game machine. Some of my friends have much fun with computer games, it seems takes full of their leisure time. Sometimes they would like to spend over $3000 to renovate the background program or add up new function to enable some games to run more faster or to be more exciting. No computer games, no life.
7..A piece of news goes that a high school student quited all school courses in order to became a professional computer game player, which can get full time job salary from a company,which runs the project of creating new games.
8.I had a dream to become a hacker when i was a middle school student. I done some crazy plans such as, to steal much money from on-line bank computer system, to hit my English teacher's computer to destory our test sheet etc. Unfortunately, I failed.
9.Now the computer technique is growing rapidly to be more intelligentized in order to instead more and more people working. In the future, maybe we need to do nothing.
10. Even if i strong agree that there are plenties of advantages we benefit from computer, but i don't expect our scientists to develop this technique extremely. If they do it, we can't imagine what will happen to us. I don't want to be free in the future.
I agree with you. computers make our life much easier than before, but it is like weapon has to sides. The first side is good, which is make our life fast, easy, comfortable so on. On the other hand, the bad side, which make people less privacy. For example, a person called "A" do not know another person called "B", but when "A" just search on the internet probably he will get some pictures and information relate with "B", or by hacker as you mention. Another problem on the internet is a person get some wrong information. There are some people do not have anything except writing silly thing and post on the internet or send it as an email.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the computer made some of our life easier,and save some of our money. Such as the Massenger . You can talk for free when you are in another country and you want to talk with your friends in your country or send to them a massege.But there is also some disadvenaege. One of them is when you save your work and the important files in your computer.Then the computer start getting stuiped and shutting down by itself. Ahter that, you lose or your files in a minuate and you get very angry. You will said I do not like the computers anymore.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with your opinion. I think now, most of the people can not live without computer. it's already a part of our life. Eveything has is advantage and diadvantage. Same as computer in our life. For the convenience, can get the information anytime, anywhere. But sometimes, I was a little confused why games are so attractive to some people.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, as me, computer is a part of my life. I have to use it do my homework and reaserch many informations. On the weekend, i always use skype talk to my family. During the daily life, i usually listen to the music, read the world news, and watch movie, also check e-mails.That is very conveince for us. But sometimes, i really like to read books, computer can not instead thet feeing in my heart. When i write some papers, i like to use pencil and paper to write outline, not use computer. I think computer can not give my clearly mind. And long time to play computer is not good for our healthy, espeially our back. But if we do not have computer now, that will waste too much to do one work maybe.

Actually my father likes computer so much ,so he taught me and my sibling in early age.So nowadays we cannot live one day without it.It is very helpful in many cases .Especially when the person is very busy and want to eat or shopping he/she can does that online with a computer.It is amazing.But every things have tow face,bad and good.In fact,in depend on who use it and why.

It is useful for me, I can work and study more convenient and fast. Also It helps me to connect with my family everyweek. However I worried about exposed to dangerous like as privacy information. I agree with you, our life changed everyday followed by the high-technology. thirty years ago, people sent letter contact each other in different place with long time, but now we use computer to sent email with a few minutes, except sent email, we can use MSN, facebook, to name but a few, instruments contact everyone, which become convenience and fast. moreover, computer can improve work efficiency, a lots work can complete on computer, due to we have computer, our life become affluence, we can paly games, watch movies, and so on, on computer.sometimes, when we meet problems want to find help, we can ask question on computer, then we can get the answer from other people who were use the cmputer.

If without computer, I think the life will be boring and complecated. But there also have something disadvantages. Such as if your computer is broken, you will maybe lose your informations inside. However, I believe it is necessary to improve our technology that can make our daily life faster and comfortable. In my opinion, we should not depend on the computer very much even though it has a lot of advantages. The computer helps us connect with other friends frequently and easily, at the same time, our relationship is becoming farther and farther. For example, in the past, we met our friends frequently because we didn’t have e-mail or msn. However, now we don’t have to meet our friends very often because of e-mail. We can connect with people easily, and also we don’t hang out often.

Reading all the comments, it is obvious to everyone that computers has pros and cons, which is probably true for everything. So it is not so enlightening to point them out here. So instead of it, let me write how I think of the future of computers.
As we can see easily now, computers are getting smaller. And with the advent of iPhone, cell phone is combined with computer. I think this would be the next trend of computer. In fact, a cell phone will probably include pretty much everything we need. It will have, of course a phone, a camera and a video, which we already have (the quality will be even better), computer with the Internet (as some do now), and some more. I am guessing in the next ten years, we may be able to see youngsters who have never used a desktop computer nor a laptop computer, but have used only cell phones as computers. That is a bit unimaginable, but it was even impossible to imagine what we are now 20 years ago. So we can never predict what is going to happen in the next decade.
The question that I have is whether people have also been changing as things around us change. I am not sure. Surely we are adapting ourselves to what we have, but is that considered as evolution or simply adaptation? Maybe time will tell someday.
