1, No doubt telling the truth and being honest is a praiseworthy virtue of human. But it goes too judgmental to claim that telling truth will be seen as the priority in any situations.
2, Basically, people should be honest to his family members, even if the truth is not dulcet. Family means forgiveness and unconditional love. Edison Chen’s lying during the nude picture scandal, in spite of public’s criticism and anger , his family, even his girlfriend, still gorgave him.
3,And he apologized that he should have discovered the truth earlier. Lying is never the right behavior for someone who loves you.
4, However, unfortunately, a lot of families break up after going the truth, but lies could maintain the relation of family or between lovers. If a girlfriend asked her boyfriend if she was beautiful, the bright and smart reasonable key answer should be “no”,whatever the truth is.
5, When it comes to that situation, lying is a way to show that he cared her. His girlfriend’s feeling is more significant than a lie. That means, a lie can also show love and the way that telling the truth maybe is not always a wise choice.
6, In addition, between strangers , always telling the truth may also easy and often lead to some unpleasant consequences.
7, As a nullifidian, if one expresses out his/her true feelings about religion when they meet some people who belief in it, your behavior is absolutely rude and impolite.
8,We should need to hide something in mind in order to avoid unnecessary tension or misunderstanding. Lies could be ok.
9, Above all, though telling the truth seems right in many occasions , but we cannot appeal to the conclusion that truth all the time.
10, It cannot go too far to judge, a little lying makes relationships better. But lying all the time will definitely end any relationship.
I disagree with some of what did you said,and agree with some. First, I think the ethical person should be honest with all people even if he/she loves them or no. Second, if the lying is good,so the truth is better. Third , telling lies is okey only in the war,to reconcile between the people,and to make the relationship between the wife and the husband better, such as if the wife asked her husband is she beatiful. The husband can say you are beatiful like a moon. So the husband lie on her wife ,he said she is like a moon,but in reality she is a human not a moon. So in my belive we can lie inly in the three things that I mentioned above.
ReplyDeleteI also don't decide my opinion because it depends on what kind of lie. Also it depend on the situation. If the lie is white lie, I think that will be okay. However, the situation ask for the true, people should tell the truth. The white lie often makes relationship better and better but it can make serious situation if the lie over and over. Too much is as bad as too little.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with your opinion. Telling the truth is always the good way. but in some situation, things are different. I think for some unserious thing, or some little things, you can lie in order to make others feel good in some case. but about the serious things, people should tell the truth. Joke is Joke, no matter how big it is. lying is lying, no matter how small it is.
ReplyDeleteI agree some of the part. To be honest to tell the turth is good, but not all the time.Sometimes will hurt some people.So it is base on what situation.Lying to someone, sometimes is to let someone feel better.So, tell lie is not bad all the time.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with you. I think truth is the best way to make people trust you. There is no good lie and bad lie. lying is lying. In my opinion, telling the truth in every time is a good thing. You can tell the truth without hurt other. you can make a nice words in truth. so lying is the worst things I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you opinion,sometime people has not choose they should lie to escape some dangerous or help some people. such as when you walk on the street alone, suddenly two strong guy stop you and ask you give them money or credit card code, how will you do. In my opinion, we can lie to them and wait for chance to run away. also if a person got incurable illness, but his family do not want to tell him truth, how about you, in my opinion we cannot lie to him, and told him his sick will be well after cure in hospital. that can let him happy and feel hope, there is no stress for him. so sometimes people should lie, but it must white lie which can help people or conquer difficult.

I think telling the truth is the only solution.Dont tell lie to everyone, truth can help everyone to inhance their relationship, and also help you to corrct your mistakes. Escape is not a good way, especially between friends. If you do something wrong, just tell them the truth as soon as possible, they will forgive your mistake.
