- What is true or false and right or wrong? Sometimes, it depends on how people think about it. When people change a standpoint to think about it, they may get a different idea.
- I believe there is nothing absolutely right or wrong. Sometimes, people believe it is true in their own opinion. If they change a view to think about it, it may be false. It is the reason why people have to hear and read a lot before they make their own decision.
- Especially for history, one effect was usually caused by a number of reasons. People have to think about it carefully before they get their own opinion.
- In general, Hitler is a malefactor especially for the occidental and the Jew. He killed a lot of people during the Second World War. In German opinion, Hitler was their hero. He helped Germany achieve at the top they had never been.
- As cold war, America and the Soviet Union debated each other about fifty years. However, the third world war or nuclear war did not happen.
- As Americans or capitalists, they believed they had to argue with the Soviet Union, because of socialism. The Soviet Union thought they had to fight with America or capitalism to get a place to survive.
- Do you believe it is the main reason? Do you think it is the main purpose for America spent about half century against the Soviet Union?
- I think it is the reason to make their citizens believe they had to disagree with each other. Therefore, they had the proper reason to argue with the other and spend a plenty of money on nuclear race and space race...
- After the Second World War, the majority of countries had different destruction. There were only America and the Soviet Union that had abilities to become the most powerful country in the world. If one of them fails, the other will become the number one in the world. Therefore, they used the argument between capitalism and socialism to attract their citizens to support their fight with the other.
- Thereby, at different place, you may have a different answer. For example, Americans may believe the governments are right because they help America become the most powerful country in the world even though they have lied the citizens. As the historian, they may want to know the real reason to cause the effect. People have to think about it carefully before they want to trust something. At different view, there may be different answer, in order that people cannot say True or False directly.

Yes, i believe your opinion. I think we may have "right" or "wrong" answers. That is not impossible, if we have enough response to prove it, that will be fine. Also we cannot say other people they are right or wrong, if they have their reasons, that also can improve it. That will be fine.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with you,because there are something is totally True or totally false. While there are something can be between the true and false. So I think it depend in the issue or the problem. We can't say that everything can be true and false.For example, there is nobody can say the smoking ciggerets isn't harmful. Becasue all resarch show that smoking is bad. This is just one small example, and there is tons of example about that.

Just for the same thing, some people may think it's right, and others may think it's wrong. For history also that the different government have different policy, and sometimes they defind what's the truth and what's the false which were not quite real. So, people should differ the things buy themslf, do not trust things easily.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with you, we know different people have different kinds of opinion, but it not mean there is no truth or no false, the principle cannot change, for instance if a person is crime who did many violent things what are harmful our society. how do you think the criminal did things. Is it right or we can think he did well. naturalness, the criminal is false, he should get the punish for the behavior. while we know that one plus one equal to two, can we think it false or there has other answers. all of those examples above merely show that truth or false not depend on people, it depend on the principle of our society.

For example, being kind with people there is no opinion in that. I think all people will agree it is right. Also violence, There is no body can say that is not wrong. So we have different opinion but we have also standard of values.

We just can keep our main point. But different people have different reason to support their point. We can't say all of them are wrong.

So what we have to say there are bold big lines either for right or wrong things and everybody must know it, and remained little details things people have several views about it. People have to put rules for everything they are dealing in their lives, so that make them confidence and successful.

Well, it seems that this topic is controversial. Some of your classmates agree with you; in contrast, others sharply disagree. This is a good sign as a topic for discussion.
What you say makes sense to me; people have different points of view (However, Germany publicly admitted that what Hitler did was wrong). So that applies to some disciplines, such as humanity, sociology, and s on. Nevertheless, regarding other areas, such as science, as some of your classmates mentioned, there is a truth, and researchers are seeking it. I know you are only talking about the former, but you did not specifically mentioned that, which forced some of your friends to disagree with you.
But you pointed out an important precept. Don't believe in your opinion blindly. That is something that every one of us needs to keep in mind. Truth differs in each person.
